Russell Taylor Group is recruiting for Laboratory Technicians near Abingdon in Oxfordshire. The company is expanding rapidly and looking for a laboratory technician to organise and support the scientific activities at their lab.

Public transport to the site is good; you do not have to have a car to apply.
- Is a self-starter, and organised
- Is an experienced laboratory technician having worked in the industry before
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A passion for problem solving, diagnosis and scientific discovery
- Analytical instrument or wet chemistry experience is desired, but not essential
- Strong IT skills, ability to innovate and keenness to learn

The Role:

- Setting up, calibration, PQ and OQ of instruments in the laboratory.
- Compliance with cGMP; completing paperwork as per the quality system.
- Liaise with suppliers to re-stock consumables and equipment
- Following SOPs and drafting new ones
- Sample reception and organisation
- Draft and review SOPs and quality documents
- Excellent training and development opportunities
