More Recruitment are looking for **TIG/MIG Welders** to join precision engineering company in **Aston, Birmingham**.

This is a temporary to permanent role: after a temporary period of 12 weeks, a successful Welder will receive a permanent contract.

**The shift is 7:00am - 4:15pm Monday to Thursday and 7am - 12pm on Friday. **There are overtime options available. The company provides training courses and specialist equipment.

After the initial 12 weeks' period there is a possible transfer to 6:00am-3:15pm working hours.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- City and Guilds or equivalent in sheetmetal/ welding or proof of comparable experience.
- At least ten years experience in MIG and TIG welding.
- Must be able to weld aluminium, stainless steel and mild steel to high standard.
- Must be able to manufacture components from drawings and/ or samples

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Broad knowledge of welding processes.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Able to read engineering drawings.
- Able to use measuring equipment.
- Able to give accurate costs for quoting purposes.

- Good communicator.
- Able to relate to others.

- Ability to respond effectively and positively to change.

**Beneficial qualifications and experience**:

- FLT License
- Driving License
- Experience in prototype development work

**Job Type**: Temp to perm

**Salary**: £14.00 per hour
