One of the fastest growing facilities maintenance companies in the UK is currently looking for a commercially minded and high calibre Business Development Manager to focus on developing new clients across the B2B private sector.
Offering an attractive basic salary of between £45,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience, plus an uncapped bonus structure, this is a great chance to join a company which can offer great possibilities for the right individual, working with a solid client list,an excellent brand and a robust business model.
If you're able to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in lead development and sales opportunity management,, ideally with experience selling FM and maintenance services on a national basis, we'd love to hear from you.
**The Role**
As Business Development Manager you will focus on developing new client accounts identifying, dealing with property directors, facilities managers and purchasing departments in a purely new business capacity. The role is office based in Birmingham, with travelacross the UK as required within the role.
You would be tasked with helping build a new division within the cleaning industry, whilst also ensuring wider opportunities are not missed. Key responsibilities will include
- Identifying potential opportunities to sell the company's services into new clients
- Delivering excellent customer service and building rapport with your customers to gain repeat business
- Actively participating in strategic planning through cross functional teams within the business
- The role will suit a high calibre sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business within previous service-based businesses. You will have
- Excellent motivation, target driven with strong business acumen
- Ability to self-generate new business from cold prospects, build and maintain relationships with existing customers
- The confidence to take ownership of the success of your sales pipeline
- The ability to engage and build excellent rapport with your customers over the telephone and face to face
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
