**Salary**: Circa £35,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience
Contract: 12 month FTC (maternity cover)
Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Harwell)

About the role:

This role will be key to the shaping and delivery of our diversity and inclusion strategy. You will be responsible for managing a range of stakeholders internally and externally, at all levels, to deliver strategic and operational objectives which have a clear impact across Jisc. Leading, shaping and influencing is a key aspect of the role, enabling others to change and deliver the strategy is crucial to the sustainability and ultimate success of our strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
- Successfully lead and influence a range to stakeholders, including our network chairs and ELT sponsors, to deliver our diversity and inclusion strategy and ambitions
- Keeping up to date with current thinking and networking in the world of D&I, using this market insight to recommend initiatives for the organisation
- Ensuring we are collecting, analysing and gathering insight from data to provide recommendations for action and use data to develop persuasive arguments to inform decision making
- Accountable for the content of all diversity and inclusion training and development activity ensuring it aligns to and deliver on our strategic objectives
Key Skills and Experience:
- Passionate about diversity and inclusion
- Strong track record of shaping and implementing strategic and operational initiatives related to diversity, inclusion, equality or wellbeing
- Demonstrable ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
