Our success relies on a passionate, service-driven multicultural team of 160 individuals from 17 nationalities, working across offices in the USA, Germany, India, Costa Rica, South Africa, and Kenya.

We are looking to hire a Travel Consultant to join our UK team. This role will be working remotely for the Hayes & Jarvis brand, which was founded in 1952.

As a Travel Consultant, you will get to know our guests' travel dreams and understand what makes them tick, and from there, create a tailor-made proposal based on their personal interests and your first-hand knowledge and travel experiences.

What you'll do:
  • Engage with guests via phone, email, and virtual consultations to understand their travel preferences and requirements.
  • Design and sell bespoke, tailor-made travel experiences to destinations around the world.
  • Provide expert travel advice and recommendations to ensure each trip is unique and memorable.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and destination experts, to ensure seamless trip execution.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets through consultative selling and excellent customer service.
  • Stay up to date with travel trends, destination knowledge, and industry developments.
  • Handle booking confirmations, payments, and other administrative tasks related to trip planning.
What you'll bring:
  • Previous experience in travel sales, luxury travel, or client experience positions preferred.
  • Passion for travel and deep knowledge of various destinations and cultures is essential (knowledge or first-hand experience travelling around the Americas region is particularly beneficial)
  • Strong consultative sales skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish trust with guests.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate international guests in different time zones.
