If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you

We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Quinton, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a cheerful young girl who lives with her family in Birmingham, she requires 1:1 support through the night on a 1:1 basis to support with her complex care needs.

She loves messy play especially exploring with arts and crafts, reading books and spending time on her iPad, such as playing games and watching her favourite videos.

When possible, she loves to explore in the garden, she enjoys planting flowers and enjoys learning about how they grow.

Throughout the night you will be required to attend to her complex and clinical care needs, support with personal care, moving & handling, repositioning, regular monitoring and offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful night’s sleep.

**It is essential for this position that you have previous seizure management experience**

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Seizure Management Experience

**Desirable Experience**
- Epilepsy Experience
- PEG Feed

**We have the following shifts available**
- Part Time Nights
- 2 Shifts Per Week
- 10pm - 9am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weeknights: £11.50 per hour (Approx. £126.50 per 11-hour shift)

Weekends: £12.00 per hour (Approx. £132.00 per 11-hour shift)

Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £165.00 per 11-hour shift)
