We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

**Meet Our Service User**

Our service user is a bright, and sociable 4-year-old girl who lives with her family in Birmingham, she requires support throughout the day on a 1:1 basis to support her complex care needs.

She is a very outgoing and curious young girl, who loves to laugh, play, interact with others, and enjoys cuddles from her family and care team. She particularly enjoys exploring and playing with her sensory toys, especially her favourite toy butterfly and octopus. Her radiant smile is known to light up every room she enters.

A key aspect of this role is to offer dedicated attention, with her care needs and accompany her to her educational setting. You will provide support with her daily routine and tasks, provide personal care, moving and handling, make clinical observations, and attend to her clinical care needs when required. You will provide reassurance, and nurture to make a positive difference to her day-to-day life.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following**:

- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Medication Administration
- Clinical care experience

**Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role**:

- Tracheostomy Care
- PEG Feeding
- Oxygen Administration
- Spina Bifida Awareness

**We have the following shifts available;**
- Part Time Days
- 2 Shifts Per Week
- 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Monday - Friday
- Tuesday days are essential for this position

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (Approx. £110.50 per 8.5-hour shift)

Bank holidays: £15.00 per hour (Approx. £127.75 per 8.5-hour shift)
