**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to provide updates on patient progress.
- Help in the preparation and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff.
- Drive patients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring a comfortable journey.
- Engage patients in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation within the care environment.
**Skills**
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
- Experience or knowledge in home care settings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with IT systems for record keeping and communication purposes.
- Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
- Experience working in a care home environment is beneficial.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £11.75-£11.90 per hour
