Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing essential support to healthcare professionals and ensuring high-quality care for our patients. Duties
  • Assisting healthcare professionals in providing care and support to patients
  • Taking and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate
  • Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administering medications
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers of patients
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in patients' conditions to healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
  • Assisting with meal preparation and feeding for patients who require assistance
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
Experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for patients' privacy
