**Overview**

PEP Pilton Equalities Project based in the North Edinburgh Area is looking to grow a team of passenger assistants for their community transport journeys.

**Duties**
- Provide assistance to passengers boarding and alighting from vehicles, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Communicate clearly with passengers to understand their needs and provide appropriate assistance.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the transportation process.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanour while interacting with passengers.
- Report any incidents or concerns to the Charity's manager promptly.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless travel experience for all passengers.

**Skills**
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience and empathy towards passengers.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with diverse individuals.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations calmly.
- Attention to detail to ensure all safety measures are adhered to during passenger assistance.
- Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings and afternoons as required by the transport schedule.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.60 per hour
