**Purpose of the Role**
Reporting to the Head of Digital Communications you will be working alongside the members of the digital marketing team along with brand and communications team,marketing and business development, and other faculties to develop and execute our digital marketingstrategy.
In this role you will be pivotal in helping connect YouTube, our podcast 'The Loop’ and other emerging channels to form part of our digital marketing ecosystem. You will bring our brand to life, supporting the firms growth objectives and enhancing all integratedcampaigns through delivering excellent content. Using your expertise and knowledge you will help to showcase best practise in these channels and aspire to set industry standards.
You will be creating and optimising our digital connection plan through these key channels to reach new audiences, enhancing our wider plans, with the drive to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
You will be supporting RSM’s global vision to be the first-choice adviser to the middle market. Internally, collaboration with peers and stakeholders will be key to delivering excellence, with a single clarifying thought **which guides all our decisions, behaviours, values and actions,** 'the power of being understood’.
**Responsibilities**
- Build a digital channel strategy across our emerging channels, to engage, excite, educate, and convert our audiences.
- Researching and introducing new digital channels to our mix which extend our brand reach.
- Be the first point of contact for best practise with YouTube and how videos and supporting content should be positioned on the platform.
- Own the strategy for The Loop, our podcast, working closely with Content and Marketing & Business Development to develop the calendar of content, along with supporting the production of each episode and managing the amplification strategy.
- Report and analyse channel / audience / content related data to develop our understanding of customer journeys, and audience trends and how to optimise conversions to meet business objectives.
- Work closely with the Brand & Communications, specifically Social and PR, and Business Development teams to strategically deliver campaigns and projects across our digital eco system including YouTube and our podcast platform - The Loop - to achieve ourmarketing objectives.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders including the Regional, Sector and Service line Business Development teams, Marketing and Brand functions, Digital and Design Managers, Senior PR Manager and the National Information Service Managers, along withkey sector and service line partners to develop your understanding of the business and how your role can support them.
- Be a core member of the Brand & Communications team, contributing effectively to meetings, presentations, projects and work-streams etc, and demonstrating a collaborative approach within the team.
- Keep well-informed of and research into the relevant sectors and competitor activities, understanding how they are using digital channels and identifying opportunities.
**Professional experience**
- Minimum three years’ relevant experience, including a combination of working in digital, marketing and communications roles.
- Some experience in podcast, video content distribution or digital channel strategy development
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and explore solutions
- Ability to analyse data and derive meaning from it
- Experience in leading and managing digital projects
- The willingness to learn new tools and adapt to different skills, knowledge and working methods required through change
