Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Golf Course Mechanic to join our dedicated team of greenkeepers at Mannings Heath Golf & Wine Estate. As the Golf Course Mechanic, you will also be responsible for machinery maintenance at our Sister Estate, Leonardslee Lakes and Gardens.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate a professional and modern approach to machinery maintenance
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop
- Maintain a well-organized, neat, and safe workshop environment
- Order and purchase stock within budget requirements
- Develop and implement a maintenance program for plant and equipment
- Passionately solve problems with a proactive and positive attitude
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and guidelines while maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Operate cylinder-grinders and set up fine turf cutting units
- Competently and efficiently assist with on-course greenkeeping duties to the highest standard
- Uphold extremely high personal standards

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience maintaining and servicing machinery and equipment to approved standards
- Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Familiarity with operating cylinder-grinders and setting up fine turf cutting units
- Passionate, enthusiastic, and highly motivated with a problem-solving mindset
- Previous experience working on golf courses
- Knowledge of Toro and John Deere machinery is preferred

Working Hours: This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour workweek, with flexibility required, particularly during the summer months.
