We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to join STI Ltd as **Project Manager**, based at our manufacturing site in **Poynton, Stockport.** This is a fantastic opportunity for proactive and hardworking individuals to join a busy and fast-paced team. This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis.

As a **Project Manager** you will be responsible for the delivery of projects. The role of the project manager is to ensure that customer expectations are met in line with business requirements.

**The Project Manager role will involve**:

- Accountable for individual projects schedule, budget control and quality.
- Accountable for maintaining order book and sales forecast for their projects.
- Working with the manufacturing team, define and implement effective and efficient delivery strategy.
- Responsible for validating internal order acceptance.
- Responsible for maintaining validated schedule and CTC for their individual projects.
- Responsible for project reporting to Operations Manager and customer.
- Business point of contact for their project deliverables.
- Contribute to, and coordinate responses to technical and manufacturing capability queries from customers
- Where required support the Bids team with the preparation of inputs to bids and proposals.
- Produce any exceptional project documentation required to support project.
- Maintain communication with customers and internal departments as to project progress and developments.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance ensuring all projects meet customer and business quality expectations.

**For this role you will need**:

- Influencing skills allied to managing integrated projects in a challenging environment.
- Proficiency in Operations systems, MRP management in the production of goods and services.
- Can communicate effectively with customers and Senior Management in a confident and professional manner.
- Commercially astute understand change impacts in an Operations environment.
- Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude who is also strong-minded with motivational drive to overcome problems quickly and effectively.
- Must be proficient in the use of PC based software packages such as MS Excel, Project, Primavera (P6) or similar management tools.
- The ability to present a professional image of the company
- Ability to create and maintain constructive working relationships internally and externally across several stakeholders.
