**National Gas Transmission (NGT) has an exciting and important role in net zero and in leading a fair energy transition for the UK.** We will do this by developing the green gas system of tomorrow, while delivering the natural gas needs of today.

**The Security function here at National Gas delivers a holistic security service to the whole of the organisation**.

Due to continued growth in this function, we are seeking a SOC Senior Operator to ensure the safety and security of National Gas People and Assets.

You will operate within the Security Control Centre (SCC) reporting directly to the SCC Manager in Corporate Security, playing a key role within this front-line team, by ensuring support to all areas of the Corporate Security function, enabling us to safeguard our people, assets and reputation.

You will coach and develop newer members to the team as well as and responding to alarms and incidents, and providing quick and effective communication to appropriate authorities and stakeholders.

**About You**:

- Experience in Security Operations or related fields
- Familiarity with different types of security systems and technology
- Training in emergency response protocols
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Certification in Security Operations
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
