The Role

The Inspection/Quality Controller is responsible for the smooth running of the Quality Control / Inspection to ensure that the machine parts are manufactured to spec, good quality and on time in a safe manner.
- Prioritising the daily workload of the Quality Control / Inspection to meet the needs of the Customer.
- Carryout Quality Control / Inspection tasks, assisting in Quality Audits and meeting ISO standards.
- Liaise with Customers on Non Conformance Report’s (NCR’s), concessions and drawing issues.
- Sign off and release parts with a certificate of conformity and all inspection reports.
- Working closely with the other Production Supervisors to ensure machine parts are ready for assembly.
- Liaise with the Production Manager on trouble shooting issues.
- Assisting the Production Co-Ordinator on daily transport for delivery of parts.
- Keeping the Team Leader informed of any concerns.
- Ensuring high standards of housekeeping, quality and Health & Safety procedures. Always promote a safe working environment.
