Electric Square is looking for an accomplished, enthusiastic, and self-motivated Senior Handling Designer to join our Brighton based team working on an exciting, critically acclaimed franchise.

**A Senior Handling Designer at Electric Square will**:

- Create compelling vehicle handling models to support the product premise
- Through intuitive controls on multiple platforms create experiences that are easy to pick up but hard to master
- Have an inherent understanding of realistic simulations and arcade handling, and be able to create an experience anywhere in between
- Create handling experiences that represent a wide range of vehicle types, and that support vehicles in various stages of upgrade
- Take direction and feedback and deliver on the goals provided
- Work with track designers to ensure that track design and handling complement one another
- Assist lead designers in creating new and exciting features and content
- Ensure smooth and clear communication within the design and engineering teams

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of professional experience in mobile or console game development with at least one released project as a handling designer
- Proven experience of creating a range of handling models which are both fit for purpose and fun
- Be able to work in close collaboration with the engineering team to identify and implement the parameters and tools you need to work your magic
- Instinctively know which parameters from the myriad available will create the desired experience
- Hands on experience with designer tools and proficient with commercial or proprietary game engines
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Experience with multiplayer games a huge plus
- Understanding of AI drivers and how they interface with the handling model is a benefit
