**Buying and Merchandising Assistant**

£22,000 FTE

For the right person this can be a flexible role, either a part time (min 25 hours of 5 hours a day) or a full time role max 40 hours. Monday - Friday working.

We are the charity which runs Banham Zoological Gardens in Norfolk and Africa Alive Zoological Reserve in Suffolk.

We are delighted to share that we are recruiting for an ambitious and hard-working Buying and Merchandising Assistant to join our dynamic commercial team within buying and merchandising based at Banham Zoo.

The key purpose of the Buying and Merchandising Assistant is keeping accurate records of all company products within the internal system Mstore, & the customer facing website. To consult with suppliers to ensure any delays in products are quickly notified to the buying and merchandising team. Because our products can encompass a multitude of departments, you will need to collaborate with a number of departments and juggle a busy workload, depending on the day and season dependant on seasonal support changes. Daily duties include: Helping to build good supplier and internal employee relations; loading new products on to Mstore; chasing delivery dates with suppliers and elevating issues to the buyer and/pr merchandiser; keeping accurate records; closing off orders on the system and matching orders with supplier invoices; Manage our products within M-store and uploading new cost prices or supply changes; placing orders with suppliers across primarily retail but also catering; loading new products onto the website & new information changes so we continuously delight our visitors and members. **You will have**

- Ability to prioritise and very well organised.
