Edwards Sales and Lettings are looking for an experienced Valuer to join our team in Loughborough, to stay and grow with the company. Our office is on the outskirts of the town centre and we serve Loughborough and all surrounding areas. This will be a pivotal appointment and as such a natural drive, tenacity and ‘go getter’ attitude is needed. The ideal person will be in a position to ‘hit the ground running’ and will be eager to maximise new instructions and increase both sales and lettings market share for the company.

Main responsibilities

Conduct market appraisals for sales and lettings

Undertake research and fully prepare for each appointment

Conduct ‘take on’ appointments; taking photos, measurements, drawing floor plans and conducting video tours

Explain and sign terms of business with sellers and landlords

Type property details and create marketing material

Keep in regular contact with existing sellers and landlords to ensure they are happy with our service and to maximise customer satisfaction

Experience required

Experience in estate or letting agency, and of valuing property

A working knowledge of all aspects of the sales and lettings process

Level 3 qualification in sales and/or lettings, or willingness to gain this as soon as possible

Skills required

Excellent IT skills/ability to learn new software quickly

Interest in photography

Good attention to detail

Attributes required

Highly motivated

Team player

Reputation for delivering outstanding customer service

Ability to naturally make quick bonds and develop a rapport

Full time, permanent position

£25,000 p.a.

Uncapped commission for instructions

Mileage

5 day working week
