Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting schools? A secondary school in Lambeth is seeking an Attendance Officer to join the team as soon as possible. You will play a key role in maintaining student attendance and ensuring compliance with school policies.
The role is long-term and starts ASAP & Full-time.

Role expectation:

- Monitor and record daily student attendance and punctuality.
- Communicate with parents, guardians, and external agencies regarding attendance issues.
- Work alongside pastoral staff to support students with low attendance.
- Keep accurate records and provide attendance reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with legal attendance requirements and school policies.
- Encourage positive attendance attitudes among students.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a school or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent organizational skills and IT proficiency.
- An enhanced DBS on the update service.
- Right to work in the UK.
