The** Global Solutions Leader, Workforce Rewards Advisory **has primary responsibility for growing Mercer’s Rewards revenue globally and ensuring solution innovation in Rewards (working closely with our Product, Data and Digital experts and other solution leaders) keeping Mercer as the preeminent leader in the space. Key to success will be ensuring our content, insights and training of practitioners ensures Mercer colleagues are best positioned to win. Core metric will be driving double digit sales growth around the world.
This individual will be expected to:
- Work with Career business leaders / Talent & Reward COI/Practice leads to help define and execute go-to-market strategy in their region; which as a minimum includes defining their grow ambition, soliciting input into thought leadership/insights agenda and collaboration on strategy execution
- In conjunction with Compensation & Rewards product leaders, equip our people to drive growth in the existing portfolio of $200M+ Workforce Rewards solutions (services, products, and technology)
- Drive, along with our thought leaders around the world, innovation around the next generation of Workforce Rewards offerings. Helping them to take key messages to market and to be market-back in how we learn what is resonating and what assets have brand and sales impact
- Maintain an internal expert network across Mercer pertaining to Rewards Advisory and staying informed via our external advisory networks and our Talent & Reward COI/Solution leaders in each region on market trends and emerging challenges clients are facing. Share back via social learning
- Advance our future thinking and solutions. With our Rewards Products leader, test new solutions including how AI and Automation can enhance the experience, and design learning materials that builds new, future forward capability in new and existing Mercer colleagues. Use these leading insights to also create engaging material to stimulate new ways of thinking about and advising around, Rewards
- Leading large/complex sales opportunities and client project delivery (about 30% of role in Year 1, 50% thereafter) and ensure that new ways of doing things feed into our core Reward methodologies within Mercer
This individual will join the other Global Solution Leaders on the Advisory Solutions & Insights group and will be a recognized ‘go to’ expert around Reward consulting as well as advisory on reward adjacencies; such as Job Architecture, Pay for Skills, Future of the Reward Function, Total Rewards/EX and HCM integration. They will be our voice in the market globally supported by client campaigns and internal activation strategies.

- Has exposure to Mercer Rewards (past employee, competed against us, current leader)
- A “doer” who can make things happen at speed, but grounded in an outside-in view and connected to our client councils for feedback and to ensure we scale and standardize what we evolve.
- Skilled at **_synthesizing ideas of others_** to move us forward
- **_ Understands the nuances of Rewards in different markets_** especially US and Europe
- Takes a **_market-in vie_**w of the client issues we can solve and is a clear communicator
- Motivation
- Sees their success as rapid sales growth of core rewards in the target markets
- Doesn’t need to be the star but is happy making stars of all our Rewards people across the firm by helping them get their voice out there (content to adapt and use in local channels), equipping them with great decks and winning methodologies (standardization and training), regularly shares talking points on the future of rewards, sending reward tips of the week into the community, etc.
- Has a voracious appetite to see Mercer as the number one and Innovative Rewards firm
- An avid reader who is aware of the world outside of Mercer (or could be with the right coaching) so we can really differentiate/cut through the noise in our insights/ POV and advisory work
- Shares Advisory Solutions & Insights (ASI) vision for being different, vocal and edgy in our thought leadership and the need to ensure sales assets are short, timely and fit for market
- Sees the intersections with skills, jobs, competences, talent models, EX and HCMs etc. and is always seeking to connect, collaborate and sell larger projects that integrate disciplines
