Are you looking for a new role within the Automotive Industry and wanting to work with one of the most iconic brands in the world? We are supporting a permanent role based in Warwick.

**Job Purpose**:

- Deliver engine development and validation testing to define and prove product attribute targets, specifically related to component thermal limits. Support engine programme timing, cost and quality across all engine projects.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Plan and execute all thermal related testing for the whole of powertrain, from engine thermal survey testing to in-vehicle component temperature analysis.
- Responsible for all powertrain component temperature analysis and heat rejection analysis
- Define component and system targets
- Create and maintain test procedure
- Create and own DVP
- Work closely with analysis teams to guide analysis and correlation to test results
- Work closely with the powertrain systems team who define the cooling systems
- Analysis and interpretation of physical test results to correlate simulation and validate design function
- Optimization of current test procedure and data analysis tools
- Develop close working relationships with the external partners

**Your Experience**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hands-on engine/transmission and driveline testing / development roles
- Failure investigations and problem solving
- Managing and developing external engineering resource
- Driving optimization through analysis
- Close collaboration with design and simulation teams, understanding data analysis and design process
- Working across functional teams effectively to deliver viable design solutions
- Managed concern resolution
- Working within an OEM environment
- Prior demonstration of testing budget and timing management
- German language skills
- Industry standard dyno and vehicle validation procedures
- Astute project control including resource planning, timing, milestones, and meeting disciplines
- Mechanical Engineering Degreee or equivalent qualification, strong background in powertrain development
- Industry related courses - HV electrification safety awareness
