Are you looking for a new role within the Automotive Industry and wanting to work with one of the most iconic brands in the world? We are supporting a permanent role based in Warwick.

**Job Purpose**:

- Coordinate engine/drivetrain development and validation plans. Work with all development engineers to plan their activities. Support engine programme timing, cost and quality across all engine projects.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Plan all development testing for the whole of powertrain, including engine, transmission, powertrain systems and vehicle testing with direct input from component owners and development engineers
- Report regular updates on timing, budget, and project progress
- Ownership of report filing and distribution throughout the company
- Optimize, maintain, and ensure test procedures are up to date, with help from component owners and development engineers
- Work closely with component owners and development engineers through DFMEA process
- Develop close working relationships with the external partners
- Develop close relationship with internal departments, including vehicle test team

**Your Experience**
- Experience in hands-on engine/transmission and driveline testing / development roles
- Managing and developing external engineering resource
- Close collaboration with design and simulation teams, understanding data analysis and design process
- Working across functional teams effectively to deliver viable design solutions
- Working within an OEM environment
- Prior demonstration of testing budget and timing management
- German language skills
- Industry standard dyno and vehicle validation procedures
- Astute project control including resource planning, timing, milestones, and meeting disciplines
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent qualification, strong background in powertrain development
- Industry related courses - HV electrification safety awareness
