**JOB SCOPE AND AIMS**

To undertake cleaning in areas as directed to ensure the offices and factory are kept in a clean and hygienic condition in order to provide a professional and customer friendly service to staff, visitors and contractors at the Company.

**PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Offices and Corridors**
- Dust/polish all surfaces including equipment
- Vacuum carpet - 3 times a week.
- Brush and mop stairs

**Kitchen & Toilets**
- Wipe all surfaces
- Sweep and mop the floors
- Clean sinks, taps, draining board and basins
- Clean fridge and microwaves when necessary
- Wash up any excess cups, plates, cutlery
- Clean each toilet
- Ensure toilet paper, kitchen rolls, tea towels are replenished in toilets and kitchens.

**Inspection areas**
- Vacuum floors
- Mop floors
- Wipe all surfaces

**Canteen & changing room**
- Mop floors - upstairs and downstairs
- Wipe all surfaces
- Brush down stairs
- Clean fridge and microwaves when necessary

**Stock**
- Cleaning stock level maintenance
- Notify Reception when materials are running low so that they can be ordered

**First Aid Room (every 2 weeks)**
- Wipe surfaces
- Mop floors

To operate machinery as required.

To comply with COSHH regulations

**SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED**

**Attainments** Educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and

English.
**Experience **Previous experience of cleaning, including the use of chemicals and using cleaning machinery safely
**Special **Attention to detail
**Aptitudes **Good planning, organising and prioritising skills

Ability to use initiative
Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
High level of honesty and integrity

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
