Role Specifics

Working on a 5-star holiday home & lodge park, you will work alongside the maintenance team and your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring the park is well maintained at all times, to create a welcoming environment for holiday home owners and holiday makers alike
- Providing excellent service at all times, responding to all queries in a professional and courteous manner
- Supporting the siting and moving of holiday homes, including assisting with receiving delivery and removal from site
- General holiday home maintenance including: plumbing, DIY, TV faults etc.
- Mowing and strimming the grounds to ensure they are kept to the highest standards
- General grounds maintenance including: cleaning the bin areas, maintaining gravel,
decking and patio areas, litter picking, etc.
- The upkeep of all garden areas; plants, flowers, hedges and trees on the park
- Hot Tub Maintenance: carrying out Hot Tub water testing and responsible for chemical
correction, where required. Carrying out daily/weekly recordings of all hot tub treatment and working with the microbiological testing company to meet 5-star water standards
- Working in conjunction with the House Keeping Team, to ensure all maintenance issues are addressed in a timely manner
- Communicating with and keeping the Maintenance and Park Managers informed regarding work completed and any issues or faults you identify
- Carrying out training as required to perform your duties to the highest and safe standard, including Hot Tub Training certification
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
- To comply and work within the Company’s Health & Safety Policies, including the
wearing of appropriate PPE, adhering to the safe use and storage of chemicals
- To complete any other duties requested of you by the management team

Essential Requirements
- Experience of Maintenance Work or high level DIY, including grounds work
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working alone and as part of a team

- Flexibility with working arrangements and able to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate well with both

- A Full driving licence is required due to the need to work on machinery and the use
of a range of vehicles in the job role

Desirable Requirements
- Experience in siting and removing holiday homes would be an advantage

- Hot Tub Maintenance Certification (this will be provided)
- Qualifications or experience in operating small plant machinery Terms and Conditions
- Contract Type: This is a full time permanent role, on the receipt of successful references and completion of a 3 month probationary period
- Salary: £10.50 Per Hour
- Hours: 40 Per Week. The role will involve working some weekends on a rota
- Holidays: 31 Days per year, including Bank Holidays. The holiday year runs 1st
January to 31st December
- Pension: This is an Auto Enrolment Work Place Pension
- Meal Breaks: are unpaid
- Uniform: Uniform is provided and must be worn at all times when on duty
