**BIM Coordinator**
**Job Summary**
Under the instructions of the BIM Lead, to control the supply chain production of BIM deliverables, confirming quality against HS2 BIM and CAD requirements and monitoring program. To produce and lead BIM technicians in the production of BIM/CAD outputs, compliantwith HS2 BIM and CAD requirements, required for the development of the project. To collaborate with any project members in developing graphical outputs as well as extracting any information contained in the graphical model. This collaboration is even closerwith Design, Construction, Temporary Works and Survey teams. To follow and enforce the implementation and use of the BIM Execution Plan policies for the production of information. To collaborate with the Information Management Team in the development, implementationand maintenance of the Information Use Cases. To support the development of project team technical competences using the BIM model. The BIM Technician reports to the BIM Lead.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Support the BIM Production Lead in controlling supply chain production, either leading or supporting clash detection, carrying out QA checks or any other supportive function.
2. Be the focal point of communication with the supply chain and control production, organise and lead meetings, define actions and follow up on its implementation to ensure a controlled production of information.
3. Produce graphical data (3D, 2D, federated models, drawings, visualizations, etc.), GIS, documentation or asset data for the team for all the project phases from early design to handover.
4. Produce graphical data, including as-built, required for the completion of the project.
5. Lead the BIM Technicians in the production of graphical data.
6. Work with the Design, Temporary Works, Survey and Construction team in the production of graphical data for different purposes.
7. Support project members in meetings.
8. Follow CAD/BIM Coordinator instructions in the production of graphical data and the coordination and control of the Supply Chain graphical production.
9. Produce or populate any piece of PIM information required graphical, non-graphical, GIS or documentation.
10. Produce visualisations or videos when required in support of the project team.
11. Support the Information Management Team in the production, implementation and maintenance of the BIM Execution Plan set of documents or another project documentation.
12. Support the Information Management Team in maintaining activities defined in the BIM Execution Plan set of documents.
13. Execute the transformation of graphical data between different software systems.
14. Support the Information Management team in implementing Information Use Cases.
