**Job Description:

- Experienced Air Import Clerk required for a busy office,
- To arrange the importations of cargo by air
- Develop working relationships with customers
- Liaise with all relevant internal departments with regards to shipments
- Liaise with Airlines for BI and Shed transfers
- Arrange airline collections for transfer to ETSF
- Liaise with HMRC, Port & Plant health and other government bodies.
- Organise import clearances, PEACH entries and correct documentation relating to the movement of cargo.
- Provide a high level of customer service
- Key point of contact for Air Import Perishable customers
- Liaise with overseas office, partners and agents
- Strong administration and communication skills.
- Providing Import quotations for potential and current customer base.
- Issue invoices to customers
- Loading costs onto job record
- Self-managing and pro-active
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Reviews and addresses accounting discrepancies
- Dealing with any queries or problems with regards to customers and shipments
- Dealing with rates, accounts, Invoices and claims
- Complete reports.**
Essential requirements:

** Previous Air Imports experience within perishables Air Import environment
- Experience of custom entries
- Excellent knowledge of all requirements for perishable imports, PEACH, DEFRA, PORT OF HEALTH
- Experience of ETSF processes.
Hours are 4 Days on 4 Days off
Hours are either 12pm - Midnight / 6am - 6pm or 7am - 7pm
