**Hours**:Mondays 19:00 to 22:00 and Fridays 19:00 to 21:00. Wednesdays have variable hours in the afternoon, based on fixture schedule.

**Role Summary**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Football Coach to support the development and performance of Aston University’s student sports club. The coach will work closely with student-athletes, club committees, and Sport Aston staff to deliver high-quality training sessions and prepare the team for competition.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Plan and deliver weekly training sessions tailored to the team’s needs and competition level
- Provide coaching at matches, tournaments, or events as required
- Support player development and team cohesion
- Liaise with club committee members and Sport Aston staff
- Ensure a safe and inclusive training environment
- Maintain appropriate records (e.g., attendance, performance feedback)

**Essential Requirements**
- Relevant coaching qualification (e.g., NGB Level 2 or equivalent)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student development and wellbeing
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
- Ability to work and plan sessions for varying levels of ability

**Desirable**
- Experience coaching at university, club, or regional level
- First Aid qualification
- Safeguarding training
- Experience working with student-athletes or in a university setting

**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £29.60 per hour
