Senior Administrator

The Finance Division is undertaking a multi-year transformation programme which will introduce new systems and ways of working through to 2027 and beyond. We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator for an initial period of two years as we prepare ourselves for the changes ahead.
The role is based in the Director's Office team which provides support services to the 240+ staff covering a remit including HR, finance, communications and general administration.
You will be responsible for many aspects of financial and general administration and will be required to review and adapt existing processes as well as define and develop new processes.
**The Role**
You will:
- Ensure the effective delivery of administrative support services.
- Ensure that departmental processes are up to date and well communicated and that the department is fully compliant with University requirements.
- Manage departmental finances, approving financial transactions and providing financial analysis.
- Deliver a programme of staff engagement communications and events.
**Your Skills**
You will be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to develop and review administrative structures, policies and procedures.
You also need to be able to work equally independently and as part of a team as the situation requires.
Experience working in a financial environment is essential, a financial qualification is desirable.

**Location**
Funding for this post is available for two years in the first instance.
