We have opportunity for two Scheme Support Officers to join our well-established team at Clarewood, Neath on a part-time, permanent basis. You will be able to build on existing experience, skills and knowledge to help young people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness to gain independence.

**What is special about this opportunity?**

This is an opportunity to join our project that provides 8 spacious, self-contained flats for young people aged 16-25. Support is tailored to individuals needs and can include:

- Facilitating activities that could include basic DIY, independent living skills learning, craft making, group discussions, gardening, decorating, games, quizzes, fitness and film nights.
- Connecting with external partners in Neath including social services and youth services that offer support and engagement for young people.
- Administrative tasks and updating accurate records.
- Supporting with access to ICT, employment, education and volunteering opportunities

Our clients may have led difficult lives and as a result display a range of complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol and substance misuse, mental health, NEET and offending behaviour. The scheme provides 24-hour support for young people to build and develop their skills and confidence

**What are the pay and benefits?**
- Part-time (18hrs & 28hrs), Permanent
- Competitive salary of £23,360.60 FTE / £12.15 Per hr
- Car driver is desirable
- An enhanced DBS is required for this role which we will pay for
- 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays
