Active Prospects is recruiting for a **Support Worker** to join our team at our supported living service in Crawley.

This service supports and assists up to 4 young females who have mental health needs, autism or complex needs to live in their independent flat/annex. This service has been tailored to meet the needs of the people we support and to ensure they can live a fulfilled and independent life. Active Prospects work within the principles of Positive Behavior Support and strength
- based approaches. The aim of this service is to ensure all people we support are able to achieve their goals and aspirations and to encourage them to become independent by learning new skills and enjoying activities.

As a **Support Worker**, you will be included in creating activities and ensuring the people we support receive a great level of care within their home. You will be supporting them to achieve their goals and aspirations - no matter how big or small they are - and to promote independence by learning new skills.

With the great support of your manager and our interactive training programme, you will learn about how to administer medication and how to provide excellent care for people we support.

**Please note that due to the needs of the people we support here, we are only able to recruit female staff for this service.** We are recruiting for other local services however, so do please check those out if you are still interested in a career with Active Prospects. You will also need experience of supporting people who suffer with their mental health whether that be personally, or through your work.

**Flexible Shift Patterns** - All hours are considered including long and short days. We commit as an organisaton to share out all shifts equally to be fair to all our staff.

**Flexible Contracts**:

- 15 hours, 22.5 hours, 30 hours, 37.5 hours all available Evening and Weekend work also available (minimum of 15hrs per week).
