**The role**

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager who wants to be part of our growth story.

We want to maintain our entrepreneurial DNA and our new Supply Chain manager will be very hands on.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supporting the management of the tendering process for new business
- Procurement of Subcontracted services post contract award including preparation and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions against the agreed prime contract
- Management of active Subcontracts and Service Level Agreements to ensure performance targets are met to the company’s quality standards and in line with the contractually agreed key performance indicators
- Management of the tendering process with potential Subcontractors where we are bidding as the main Contractor including price negotiations
- Management of the exit process when a provider leaves the supply chain.
- Reviewing supply chain analysis on performance measures and making decision on necessary interventions from the supply chain management performance management toolkit to agree plans with providers on performance improvement
- Reviewing provider progress on performance improvement and where necessary, making arrangements to adjust profiles and or make changes to contractual targets, reallocating volumes appropriately across the supply chain
- Proactive management of Subcontractors and Partners to assist them with being successful but, where necessary, instigating performance management regimes for poor performing Subcontractors including possible contract cancellation
- Required to undertake site visits and monitor that Subcontractors and Partners meet the terms and conditions set out in agreements and contracts

**Skills and experience**
- Experience of managing performance improvement in an operational delivery business environment
- Practical experience of selecting, and negotiating with other 3rd party organisations to agree service level agreements or contracts for the delivery of services
- Ability to be able to manage change effectively within own business and able to address complexities of change management in other organisations
- Experience of working in a proactive manner to be able to respond to urgent contract change requests whilst continuously focussing on improvement
- Experience of conflict management and ongoing dispute resolution
- Experience of engaging with a variety of seniority levels both internally and externally and across different organisations.
- Strong planning skills and project management expertise
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
- Strategic planning and thinking, systems analysis and evaluation
- In-depth understanding of risk management within the supply chain of the company
- Technical skills including; strong and immediately effective communications skills, excellent IT and administration skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), good numeracy skills and excellent written and verbal communication/record keeping skills.
