This is a fixed term contract for 3 months.

**Key Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of a Hospitality and Catering Trainer include, but are not limited to:

- Provide training and assessment in appropriate disciplines to a range of learners on their selected programme.
- Support the tracking and recording of the vocational progress of learners on a regular basis and organise formal reviews between learner and employer in line with individual learning plan.
- To develop and implement timely, safe, consistent and relevant assessments, assessment plans and resources that are linked to initial and current assessments.

**The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Hospitality and Catering Trainer are:

- Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths or equivalent.
- A1 assessors award or equivalent.
- Willingness to work towards teaching qualification / or to hold a teaching qualification.
- Highly motivated professional in Hospitality and/or Catering with a range of industry experience.
- Either teaching/mentoring experience or have supported apprentices in the workplace.
- Well organised and hold an excellent range of communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft IT packages.
