Kirkham Engineering Co Ltd (Established in 1955), have a fine reputation as specialists in the production of ‘repetition turned parts’ up to 65mm diameter on CNC Fixed Head and CNC Sliding Head machines.

We produce parts in all materials, ferrous and non-ferrous. We also turn parts for the oil and gas industries, petrochemical and needle valve / ball valve, as well as many other industries that use exotic alloy materials in their production processes.

We are looking to employ a **Machine Shop General Labourer** whose role will include the following:

- General cleaning in the machine shop;
- Wiping down the machines;
- Cleaning up oil spillages;
- Emptying rubbish and Swarf barrels;
- Monitoring and cleaning coolant tanks and sumps;
- Handling goods received and checking in;
There will be other general maintenance duties around the factory as required.

There is further opportunity available within the business to develop machine operating skills in the future. The **Key Skills** that we are looking for now are:

Scheduled working hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45am - 12:45pm.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
