**Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 18:00pm (40 hours per week, 37.5 hours paid)**

Hannah Foods are looking for a **full-time, permanent, Warehouse Cleaner** to join our family-run business based in our local depot in **Skelmersdale. **In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety are consistently met.

We operate as a national wholesale and foodservice distribution business. Hannah's have a custom-built distribution premise with an **integrated cold store and chiller **and offer a wide range of **products including; frozen, chilled, grocery, butchery and non-food items.**

**This job role includes**:

- Polishing all glass panels and windows to ensure they remain clear and spotless
- Keeping warehouse aisles clean and free of debris by regularly brushing and sweeping
- Dusting all surfaces, including skirting boards, walls, and ceilings, to maintain a dust-free environment
- Thoroughly washing skirting boards, walls, kick plates, window sills, and handrails to uphold high hygiene standards
- Mopping the warehouse office and walkways to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Emptying bins regularly throughout the warehouse and office areas to ensure a clean environment
- Wiping down office equipment, such as computers and desks, to keep workspaces sanitized
- Ensuring all shelving, racking, and stock remain clean and free of dust
- Operating the scrubbing machine to keep the shop floor spotless and dirt-free
- Operating the cardboard bailer as and when necessary
- Collecting and disposing of any plastic or cardboard left on the shop floor to keep the area tidy
- Clearing ice build up from doors and walkways in the onsite freezer to ensure safety
- Removing rubbish from around the building’s perimeter to maintain a tidy exterior
- Emptying the smoking shelter bin and keep the area clear of debris
- Washing and replacing mop heads as needed to ensure they are effective for cleaning tasks
- Ensuring the COSHH cupboard is stocked and chemicals are stored correctly to ensure health and safety

**About you**:

- Experience within a similar role
- Be able to work in both the onsite freezer and chiller **(PPE is provided)**:

- Good attendance
- Good time management skills
- Organised and have a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on your own
- Understanding of how to handle cleaning products safely, including harsh chemicals
- Ability to read instructions and use math to measure cleaning fluid
