We are currently looking to recruit a **Guest Liaison and Café Assistant** to join our team of dedicated professionals.

**Hours of Work**:40hrs per week Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:30

**Purpose**

The Guest Liaison and Café Assistant is a dedicated hospitality professional responsible for managing the Café and serving as the primary support for day visitors. This role involves anticipating and responding to visitor needs as well as overseeing the daily operations of a coffee shop, ensuring high standards of customer service, product quality, and operational efficiency. This role involves coordinating café staff, maintaining inventory, handling finances, and creating a welcoming environment for customers.

**Guest service**
- Ensure the highest standards of service and hospitality are consistently delivered to our day visitors, ensuring catering needs are met with tea trays, lunch service and so on.
- Greet and interact with customers, ensuring a positive experience.

**Coffee Shop**
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop, including opening and closing procedures.
- Ensure the shop is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked at all times.
- Maintain high standards of coffee preparation and presentation.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations.
- Recruit, train, and supervise baristas and other staff members.
- Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Motivate and develop staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Greet and interact with customers, ensuring a positive experience.
- Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all customers.
- Develop relationships with regular customers to encourage loyalty.
- With the Head of Operations, manage the coffee shop's budget, including expenses and revenue.
- Handle cash management, including tills and deposits.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Ensure all products and ingredients meet quality standards.
- Minimize waste through efficient inventory management.
- Develop and execute promotional campaigns to attract new customers.

**Essential**:

- Have your own transport as there is no public transport nearby
- Be prepared to be DBS cleared
