Nursery Room Leader

Oak Tree Nursery is looking for their next inspiring Room Leader

This role is ideal for anyone who is creative, enthusiastic, and a great role model, who feel they are ready to develop their childcare career and manage a small team

The role will entail the following:

- Supporting and mentoring a small team of staff to deliver outstanding childcare
- maintaining high quality environments with plenty of stimulating provocations throughout the room
- Create loads of fun and engaging activities for children based around their interests
- ensure planning, observations and assessments are completed and in line with procedure

Previous Room Leader experience is _**NOT**_ essential, as full mentoring and training will be given.

A bit about you:

- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare is a essential
- You MUST have a big smile on your face that will make each child's face light up when they see you
- You should enjoy being in a nursery environment, and be confident in leading activities for the children
- You will find joy in the little moments in life...such as laugh when you hear the children laugh, and smile when you see the children's faces when their favourite meal is served to them
- You must be organised and be good at time keeping
- You will need to bring oodles of patience and a sense of humour We are a social bunch at the nursery who love getting together for regular training (and parties)

As we work with children, we take safeguarding seriously so an enhanced DBS will be done once you have been appointed.

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- No weekends
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Whitchurch: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
