Drive Motor Retail represent Vauxhall, MG and Citroen we offer a wide range of new cars and vans whilst providing a variety of used and manufacturer approved vehicles to suit any need or price range.

With a turnover of approximately £250 million per annum and over 700 members of staff employed in 13 dealerships and one dedicated service centre across the country, giving the business both a national presence and a local community spirit.

We are seeking talented individuals to join our team as Customer Service/Sales Advisors at our York, Hull and Scarborough branches.

**About the role**:
We are looking for applicants who are well presented with excellent customer service skills and a professional manner. This is a permanent, full-time position. Experience in the automotive sector is not essential, as all training is provided to support your success in the role.

**Responsibilities day to day**:

- Welcoming guests into the showroom, and engaging with them to discuss requirements
- Sell vehicles profitably and be able to achieve targets agreed with the Sales Manager
- Co-ordinate and work alongside the sales manager
- Promote and maintain excellent customer relations by personal manner, appearance, integrity, and loyalty
- Prepare order forms and other relevant paperwork

**About you**:
Essential:

- Full UK Manual Drivers Licence
- Customer centric attitude
- Excellent customer service skills & proven ability to build a strong rapport with customers
- Flexible and ability to work evenings and weekends (on a rota basis)

Desirable:

- 2 years’ experience in a customer-facing service role
- Previous retail sales experience
- Located within York, Hull or Scarborough based on preferred site.

**Salary**: Up to £45,000.00 per year
