Assist the Head of Capital & Property Services with the production and maintenance of adequate estate records necessary for the efficient management of the estate with particular attention to the continual updating of fire survey and statutory estate condition records. To support the delivery of the Trusts capital programme to ensure quality facilities, delivered within budget, and within the current financial constraints. Support and deliver of capital projects from feasibility through to timely completion, and within budget working alongside all project stakeholders. Ensure all capital projects are completed to high standards using best sustainable practices whilst achieving value for money; To provide expert advice on aspects of projects which affects the Trusts ability to achieve its clinical needs through the consequences of capital developments, ensuring time, cost and quality standards are met.

To lead the working groups and external advisors in the preparation of output specifications, operational policies and design briefs. To chair and facilitate capital technical meetings ensuring the technical advisers develop appropriate and affordable design and capital costs in line with the constraints set by each scheme, procurement processes and competing demands of the Trust. To ensure the advisors work is properly co-ordinated and interfaced. To support the development of a Post Project Evaluation strategy to review capital projects and ensure continuous quality improvements in the built environment.
