Wärtsilä is now looking for multiple open-minded and team-oriented Field Services & Workshops Experts to join their team. For these positions, you must be willing to travel extensively (worldwide) and stay abroad.

MAIN DUTIES
As a Field Services Engineer, your work will focus on but not be limited to, the following responsibilities:

- Possibility to lead and manage the assigned team and related activities during the work execution.
- Interact with customers during the work execution (e.g. conducting introduction meeting).
- Perform internal and external progress status of the assigned work.
- Independently or together with colleagues, execute service activities, repairs for Wärtsilä products (4-Stroke, 2-Stroke, Propulsion, Insitu machining, Turbochargers, Automation) aboard vessels or land-based power plants.
- Execution of the above in line with organization processes and practice to achieve the desired time, cost and quality outcomes.
- Represent Wärtsilä towards their customers and the marine industry to achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to earlier project execution phases - sales, design, engineering, purchasing and installation when needed.
- Increase spare part sales through customer interaction and accurate record-keeping in the field.
- Maintain and promote Wärtsilä's high safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in Marine/Mechanical Engineering, Automotive, Mechatronics combined with some hands-on experience working with 2 stroke / 4 stroke / DF Engines or other Mechanical Equipment.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Ability to understand, use and correct electrical and automation schematics and drawings
- Actual seagoing experience as 2nd / 3rd engineer or ETO (desirable)
- Service and team minded, structured, good attention to detail and self-motivating
- Willing to gain experience, travel the world and contribute a positive mindset within our team
