Robertson Bell are proud to once again be working with this ambitious housing association in their search for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Based in St Albans, this newly created role with report into the Head of Financeand play a vital role in a variety of month and year end processes across the Group structure.

**The key duties of this Management Accountant role are as follows**:

- Take the lead in the production of the monthly management accounts for the Group.
- Deputise for the Head of Finance in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements.
- Play a leading role in the preparation of VAT and other statutory returns for the Group.
- Full responsibility for updating the cashflow forecasts on a weekly basis.
- Provide invaluable support during the External Audit process, answering queries as they arise.
- Ensure that prepayments and accruals are prepared in a timely fashion and all repair costs are accurately captured.

This role is the perfect opportunity for someone with a background in management accounts who is looking for the opportunity diversify their skill set and move into a more varied role offering exposure to statutory and group accounts. Although officiallybased out of the organisation’s head office near St Albans, extremely flexible working arrangements will be on offer.
- Achieved their full accountancy qualification or be qualified by experience.
- Experience leading on the production of monthly management accounts.
- A background working in the social housing sector.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of statutory accounts.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
