DORIS Engineering UK is looking for a HR Administration Assistant on a temporary part-time basis. DORIS office is based in Wimbledon, London.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Must have proven and well-developed administrative experience within an office environment. Experience within an HR team is advantageous **but not essential.**:

- Intermediate IT literacy with competent knowledge of Microsoft Office.

**The Role**:
To support the HR Team with the administration activities of the HR function. To work closely with the recruitment team and support as appropriate.

**Scope of Responsibilities**:
The HR Administration Assistant will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

- Administration of new starters (staff/ ltd/ PAYE/ agency) including contract administration, employment checks (RTW, references, insurance etc), probation, pension and healthcare etc as appropriate.
- Responsible for the contract renewal and checks process for the flexible workforce.
- Responsible for onboarding process (i.e. arrange first day).
- Responsible for the management and delivery of inductions for all new starters.
- Process changes to terms and conditions of workforce as appropriate.
- Administration of sickness and non-sickness absence process - chasing missing self-certification certificates, escalating absences where appropriate.
- HR System and spreadsheet updates and maintaining employee records, to include any changes to personal, employment.
- Administration of company leaver process.
- Responsible for the offboarding process of workforce to include leaver letters, notifications and exit interviews where appropriate.
- Responding to external requests for employment, tenancy and mortgage references.
- To undertake ad hoc HR projects as required.

**Competencies & Soft Skills**:

- Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have high attention to detail and able to work quickly and accurately.
- Positive, can-do, flexible and proactive work ethic and takes personal ownership for ensuring the job gets done.
- High degree of confidentiality and integrity.

**Working Hours**:32 hours per week over 4 days
