Purpose
We are recruiting 2 Job Coaches to support learners during their work placements on their Supported Internship programmes. The roles will be based in the workplace and co-ordinate the supported internship placements in liaison with the tutors and the employers. Job coaches are the daily contact for the interns while they are at work, being responsible for their welfare and education whilst on site.
**Duties include**:
- Working with learners during their induction to prepare them for their work placements.
- Liaising with employers and engagement team to find suitable placements for learners, based on their future career aspirations.
**Essential**:
**You will have**:
Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
Previous experience of providing employment-related training
Proven successful track record of working with SEND learners in a pastoral or youth work role
Experience of providing and managing information, advice & guidance
service to young people.
