Temporary Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an temporary accounts assistant to join our team.

Ideally you will have some previous experience of both purchase and sales ledgers and be prepared for a variety of tasks.

Duties will include:
**SALES LEDGER / CASH BOOK**
- Posting all (non-Purchase/Sales Ledger) payments and receipts onto the Cash Book
- Posting all (non
- automatic) sales ledger receipts/adjustments onto Sales Ledger Accounts (including ecommerce accounts), including allocating receipts to invoices/credit notes
- Setting up new customer accounts
- Making refunds to Customers (including ecommerce)
- Checking daily till summaries from all Branches against Dimensions and Bank
- Check Sagepay / Paypal to Magento for unmatched orders
- Reconciling ecommerce receipts and orders to ensure that no orders are missed
- Processing Credit Retail Customer Sales Orders/Invoices/Credit Notes
- Credit Control work, including contacting customers directly

**PURCHASE LEDGER / CASH BOOK**
- Ensuring that Service (non-Resale) Invoices are properly described & authorised by the relevant manager
- Coding of the Service (non-Resale) Invoices and Staff Expense Claims
- Passing monthly company credit/charge card statements to card holders for checking & attachment of all receipts, chasing for return, and coding
- Posting of all Service Invoices, Staff Expenses & company credit/charge card statements
- Operation of Purchase Order & Delivery Note matching to Invoices
- Chasing Purchasing Departments, Stores & Warehouses for Delivery Notes
- Checking, reconciling & filing Supplier Statements
- Setting up new supplier accounts, confirming and making any necessary detail changes
- Along with other associated duties

The position is for 20 hours per week generally over five days however there is some flexibility over working days/hours.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
