As part of a national IAPT (Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies) programme, Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with Greater Manchester Mental Health, are recruiting into a number of salaried trainee positions to work across the Greater Manchester area.

We would like to recruit IAPT Trainee Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners into salaried 1-year trainee positions, with the offer of permanent future employment in one of our IAPT services upon successful completion of the training. We are looking for people with a commitment to scientific practice with a willingness to learn new skills and a desire to improve the health and wellbeing of people with common mental disorders.

Services are committed to supporting recovery for people with anxiety and depression-related problems, including people with long term physical health conditions such as diabetes and respiratory problems.

The successful applicants will be employed by an IAPT provider organisation in Greater Manchester and will be given the opportunity to state for which employer and locality they would like to work. We cannot guarantee the first choice of employer but will endeavour to place you in a team that is mutually acceptable
