Our clientis currently looking for a **Events & Services Administrator** to join their team based in their Sheffield office or working remotely. You will join on a full-time, 12 months fixed basis, with the possibility to extend, and in return,you will receive a competitive salary of £19,380 per annum.

Our client are an independent charity supporting thousands of people who experience tinnitus and advise medical professionals from across the world. They are the primary source of support and information for people with tinnitus in the UK, facilitating animproved quality of life. They aim to encourage prevention through their educational programme and to seek effective treatment for tinnitus through a medical research programme.

**The Events & Services Administrator role**:
Our Events and Services Administrator will play a vital role in delivering their successful face-to-face and online events and training programme as well as providing administrative support across all BTA services. The BTA is undertaking a digital transformationthanks to generous funding from the National Lottery Community Fund which will see us delivering brand new digital services to the tinnitus community.

This role will be a key part of the internal Digital Team. Two days of the Administrator’s time will contribute to the development of these services and administrative tasks generated by them. These days will therefore be funded by the National Lottery CommunityFund.

**Key responsibilities of their Events & Services Administrator**:

- Work with both the Events Manager and independently to deliver their face-to face and virtual events calendar to public and professional audiences
- Build on the existing calendar of events and help create new and bespoke activities
- Work with the Communications team on the promotion and marketing of events, creating content for online and traditional media. Manage event administration tasks which include, but are not limited to:
Creating and managing event pages via their online Content Management System (CMS)
Manage all aspects of attendee bookings including communications and payments
Distribute feedback and produce reports
Prepare event materials for face-to-face and virtual events
Secure and liaise with potential and confirmed speakers for events
- Schedule virtual meetings, workshops, and webinars, using platforms such as Zoom Meetings and Microsoft Teams
- Manage the project budgets with assistance from the Events Manager
- Ensure that all online support group attendee records are appropriately recorded, tracked and updated on their database system

**What they’re looking for in their Events & Services Administrator**:

- Relevant administrative work experience
- Coordination of systems and processes for collecting, collating, and reporting information
- Maintenance and production of accurate records, reports, documents, and communications material to meet service targets
- Organisational skills including prioritising own workload effectively and efficiently
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 package
- Key competencies in numeracy and literacy are essential
- Regulatory requirements and best practice policy and guidance relating to:
GDPR compliance on Helplines
Confidentiality and information sharing rules
- Ability to develop efficient and professional working relationships throughout the organisation and with external contacts
- Ability to handle challenging situations and to deal with them calmly, efficiently, and effectively
- Good writing skills
- Proactive in generating sales and ability to work towards sales targets for events and LMS courses
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills both face to face and on the phone
