- 2 years’ experience
- NVQ level 3 in Health & Social care
- UK driving license with access to own vehicle
- Good level of English communication and writing skills

SureCare North Herts & Stevenage are part of a national network of over 50 branches across the UK.

SureCare has been operating for over 27 years within the domiciliary care sector, making it one of the longest serving organisations within domiciliary care.

You will be provided with support from head office, with a dedicated Business Development Manager and Compliance Coordinator to help you with your tasks.

You will also be given the opportunity to further your studies and be funded to complete your NVQ level 5 in Health and Social Care.*

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Must hold full UK driving license and car is essential
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 and willing to work towards NVQ Level 5
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- An enhanced DBS will be required for successful applicant.

**Working Hours**: Full time, Permanent

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Extensive experience supporting and providing care to clients within a domiciliary setting
- Highly knowledgeable of processes involved in CQC compliance and monitoring of service standards
- Excellent compliance history and with proven ability of implementing strategies resulting in GOOD (or better) inspection ratings
- Strong leadership skills and a proven ability of management and development of teams ensuring they are supported with appropriate training, to ensure the very best outcomes in everything we do
- Excellent business and interpersonal skills, work successfully under pressure and consistently achieve KPIs/targets against tight deadlines
- Caring and empathetic approach developing person centred care plans tailored to personal needs
- Committed to a client-focused approach coupled with high service standards
- Accountable for the Health and Safety of staff and clients; ensuring relevant policies and procedures are followed at all times providing a safe working environment
- To be a key figure in ensuring the business grows sustainably but in line with commercial targets
- To take ownership of quality assurance and governance through scheduled Spot Checks, Service Reviews, Internal Audits, and Annual Surveys
- Ability to identify and recruit high-quality Carer, implement excellent training and maintain high retention ratios
- Ability to complete and continuously improve the Assessments, Risk Assessments and Support Plans to ensure the outcome of the client is achieved effectively and the customers’ expectations are exceeded by going the extra mile
- Attend team meetings and community meetings when required.
- Take responsibility for ensuring the emergency on-call mobile phone is covered outside normal office hours, including holding the phone as part of the on-call rota.
- Following up on leads, materialising and gaining clients.
- Marketing events, attending pop up stalls, promoting the brand, liaising with assisted living facilities, etc.
