Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Assistant. As an Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant. **Responsibilities**:

- Assist with food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and quality standards
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Support the kitchen staff in various tasks, such as chopping vegetables, washing dishes, and restocking supplies
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and placing orders when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with taking orders, serving food, and addressing customer inquiries
- Upsell menu items to customers to increase sales and enhance the dining experience
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating order totals
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team and take direction from superiors
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: £9.00-£13.00 per hour
