Childminding Assistant

Squib and Squidge Childminding would like to invite enquiries for the role of Childminding Assistant - 19 hours per week Tuesday and Wednesday (2 days 8am - 5.30pm).

We are professional and very popular childcare providers in Connahs Quay; as small a staff team of Registered Childminders and Childminding Assistants we provide a flexible and quality childcare service for children aged 0 - 12 years.

The successful applicant will have a child centred approach to their work and be of a mature, but fun outlook. Previous experience of working with children and childcare qualifications are desirable but all training will be provided as necessary.

The Childminding Assistants' duties will include play and close interaction with the children, personal care, preparation of food, and supporting children at mealtimes. Also, cleaning of the setting and maintaining appropriate health and hygiene standards. Basic administrative tasks. You will be supervised throughout the day by the Registered staff members.

Start date for successful applicant will be dependant on clear DBS, references and checks.
