**About the Role**
This role will require a large amount of stakeholder management and engagement, so confidence in this area will be crucial.
**Duties**
**Procedural management & GDPR**
- Ensure that best practice guidelines for data acquisition are developed and adhered to - both in terms of opt-in/out and how this data is stored and used for marketing and reporting
- Keep under review the long-term technology strategy for the CRM
- Ensure that the CRM system and processes comply with GDPR legislation and best practice
- Advise senior management on relevant data management issues and risks
- Serve as the lead contact with the software provider and interface with the organization on database issues as needed
**Data cleansing & usage**
- Lead efforts to develop protocols and procedures; perform data and usage audits; lead module vetting, selection, adoption and implementation efforts; and manage all new and continuing user trainings across the organization.
- Ensure consistency in data management and use across the organisation
- Continue to improve the quality of the data within the CRM
**Support sales & marketing**
- Continue to identify changes/new processes for the use of data
- Work with a variety of marketing campaigns
- Report outcomes and KPI's of campaigns
- Maintain the accurate, efficient and transfer of leads
- Understand and report on sales and enquiry attribution
- Assist users in the analysis, interpretation, reporting and presentation of respondent data
**Requirements**:
**Experience**
- 3+ years database management experience; Maximizer experience desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of the B2B insurance industry
- Broad knowledge of data protection, GDPR (and privacy) legislation and best practice and an appreciation of how it is applied in a market research organisation
- Experienced user of large databases, delivering high frequency, data led dynamic campaigns
**Skills and competencies**
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to balance competing priorities
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in workflow
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication that supports the understanding and usage of the CRM system by all staff
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter able to use own initiative and to prioritise effectively
- Experience of troubleshooting and problem resolution
