Pay banding: £62,595-£65,880 per annum

- Key Responsibilities of the Business intelligence and Performance Manager:_
- Work in a senior role responsible for a portfolio of large complex, strategic projects across the Council and the development and operation of monitoring and performance management systems that ensure the delivery of the corporate plan, corporate and serviceprogrammes and statutory returns
- Proactively engage services ensuring the team has a strong reputation for positively supporting improvement and delivery through performance management and business intelligence
- Lead a team of skilled analysts to undertake a wide range of specialist data analysis tasks and deliver outputs to a high standard
- Play a strategic role leading on Council-wide performance activities ensuring strategic and performance alignment is achieved
- Developing the performance frameworks for the corporate plan and corporate programmes
- Advise on the performance frameworks for programmes in the services
- Development of effective KPIs at the corporate level and working with services to develop their performance frameworks
- Skills and experience required of the Business intelligence and Performance Manager:_
- Extensive experience of establishing collaborative relationships and working with services to address challenges
- Experience of managing a business intelligence function delivering diverse and high-profile data services for a large, complex organisation
- Extensive experience of developing business intelligence strategies and performance management information and managing a team to deliver high quality data analysis work
- Excellent knowledge of local government and financial processes, sensitivities and priorities in a complex organisational setting
